Where to Stay

Kitsap Peninsula:

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Poulsbo Inn, just 6 miles away from the wedding site.  The group rate is just $86 a night, and our block will be held until August 7. After that, guests can still reserve rooms at this special rate if they are available, but reservations must be made over the phone.  Please refer to the Ambler-Henry wedding for the special rate.

    • Poulsbo Inn | 18680 State Hwy 305 NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370 | (360) 799-3921

There is also a great campground at the Kitsap Memorial State Park just a few miles away from the wedding site.  To make a reservation, visit online or call (888) 226-7688.  The cabins at the site were already reserved back in February when we checked, but there should be plenty of campsite availability for those on a budget.

Alternatively, there are a number of bed and breakfasts in the area that could be fun to check out with a modicum of online research.  Poulsbo, Port Gamble, Kingston, and Bainbridge Island are all relatively close to the wedding site.

Seattle area:

There are a zillion different hotels in Seattle to fit any budget and most have cheaper rates online than through a block reservation.  Hotels downtown or near Pike Place Market can be accessed by light-rail from the airport and are within walking distance to the ferry terminal.  If you want to go this route and avoid renting a car, e-mail Gwen to help set-up a carpool to/from the ferry terminal and the wedding site.

Getting To Farm Kitchen

There are a number of different ways to get to our wedding site at Farm Kitchen from Seattle.  All ways necessitate a car, so carpooling is recommended!
1.  Take a ferry from downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island (and then drive onto the Kitsap Peninsula)
2.  Take a ferry from Edmonds (north of Seattle) to Kingston (on the Kitsap Peninsula, north of Farm Kitchen)
3.  Drive around the south of Puget Sound (recommended if coming directly from SeaTac airport)

Each way will probably take roughly the same amount of time (1.5 hours) but taking a ferry has unbeatable views!

Review the Washington State ferry schedule to help plan your travel.
